Royal Trumpet (King Oyster) Mushroom

Mild, savory flavor with meaty, substantial texture—the most "steak-like" mushroom. Thick stems can be sliced into rounds and seared like scallops. Excellent grilled, roasted, or pan-seared until golden. Score the surface before cooking to enhance browning. Perfect as a vegetarian main course, in stir-fries, or sliced thin for mushroom "bacon."
